Here I am in NYC, enjoying a mighty cold (hopefully white) Christmas with my family after one heck of a year. This year has certainly challenged my resolve and sense of who I am, throwing me circumstances I never dreamed I would have to deal with. Overall, I have come out of the other end of breast cancer treatment with a greater resolve to be present, lead a simple life and give my energy to what matters.
I wish you all the very best for the coming year and hope you can see out 2010 with an appreciation for the beauty of life and the company of those you love.
Here is my small present to you, a new website called Pilates Anytime A free 15 day trial on offer, not sure who it is aimed at, just read about it today and wanted to share. Merry Christmas.
PS Please fill out our inaugural Australian Pilates industry survey posted a little while ago. Easy to do over the spare holiday time we are enjoying.
The Pilates Biz, a free pdf outlining nine proven strategies to help you grow your Pilates business.
Now we have Kylie’s ‘Business Wellbeing’ and Gina’s ‘The Pilates Biz’ to guide us in business growth.
Pilates studio owners are also small business owners. Nothing in our Pilates training prepares us for small business ownership, so we learn the hard way, on the job. I am researching my assignment for my final subject in my remedial massage training and have come across a number of resources that may help.
Small business NSW govt site – finance and cashflow, marketing and sales are all covered.
Government agencies guide for small businesses – collection of contact information and services provided by a range of government agencies as a reference tool for small business.
And lastly, the dollars – business reporting tools covering the financials of your studio.
This tool could be of great use to you in determining the profitability of your set up.
ROI calculator – found this on the Balanced Body website (new and improved I must say)
While you are there pick yourself up some Pilates wallpaper, is there such a thing as too much Pilates?
