I have a number of clients that find 4point kneeling or pressing the Wundachair pedal down problematic. It seems to be a combination of weak wrists and discomfort in the pads of the hand with the sustained pressure. This work is so good for shoulder strength and the proprioception of shoulder work I don’t really want to exclude it all because of their wrist discomfort. So inspired by a client who suffers this affliction, I got to looking for gloves.
Wrist Assured™ Gloves are the only product I could find and I tried my hardest.
“Our hands by design were not intended for weight bearing, so it’s no wonder that many of us experience pain or discomfort when assuming those yoga asanas or Pilates positions that require us to do just that — bear body weight on our hands.
Putting full or partial body weight on the wrist in full range of extension then adding several repetitions of a Sun Salutations or holding weight bearing poses for a prolonged duration can result in pain or discomfort.”
Of course, they are from the US but as I really see a need, I hope to bring them here to Australia. I will look out for them at the Body Mind Expo in April so if you would like a pair let me know, and I can bring a pair home for you.

I spoke to a yoga teacher about this today and he suggested bandages wrapped firmly around the wrist area have really helped too? Has anyone any experience of this problem?
