Secondly, established in 1991, the Pilates Physical Mind Institute is a training ground, retailer and almost modern day elder of the industry. A number of archived articles are available for your perusal, plus the Joan Briebart Standing Pilates concept and the Tye4 product are prominent. I quote, “Fortunately today the Pilates history of elitism, secrecy and exclusivity which made it unapproachable, almost exotic, is totally passe!” Hhmm, well worth a look at the Physical Mind Institute.
